The Vacancy
Are you passionate about giving customers a voice and shaping services that truly make a difference?
Join Stockport Homes Group (SHG) as a Customer Engagement Officer and help us deliver our Customer Voice and Influence Strategy. In this role, you’ll champion tenant and resident engagement, ensuring their views influence our services and strategic priorities. You’ll design and deliver inclusive participation activities, build strong partnerships, and support community groups to thrive—creating positive outcomes across our neighbourhoods.
You’ll bring a strong understanding of excellence in tenant participation and the Tenant Influence and Accountability regulatory standard, along with proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to create meaningful outcomes.
Skilled at engaging and building rapport with people—especially those who may not currently engage—you’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
You’ll be confident in analysing and interpreting feedback, identifying themes, and presenting insights that inform decision-making. A proactive team player, you’ll manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
While a driving licence and car aren’t essential for this role, some community work is involved, so you’ll need to be able to travel easily within the area.
