Are you passionate about making a difference in communities and tackling antisocial behaviour? At Stockport Homes Group, we’re looking for a Safer Neighbourhood Officer to help create safer, more supportive neighbourhoods across Stockport.

In this role, you will investigate complaints of antisocial behaviour, working with residents to take appropriate enforcement or intervention action. You will support both victims and perpetrators, ensuring effective case management and using legal processes where necessary to achieve positive outcomes. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will contribute to the Safer Stockport Partnership and help deliver services in line with the ASB Strategy. You will also participate in the Safer Neighbourhoods Duty Rota, responding to emergency cases and ensuring the safety and well-being of customers.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong organisational and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage caseloads effectively, and experience in civil court procedures and legal processes. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and use your initiative to resolve complex issues.

Please note, it is an essential requirement of the role that you will have a current driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

If you’re ready to make a real impact in Stockport’s communities, apply today and help us build safer, stronger neighbourhoods!
