Join our team at Stockport Homes and lead the way transforming the homelessness and rehousing services. As the Head of Homelessness & Rehousing, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategic and operational management across our Housing Options and Temporary Accommodation Teams and leading a range of externally commissioned preventative contracts.
We are seeking someone with extensive experience in the housing sector, adept at managing complex, people-centred, and customer-focused services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering service improvements for customers and communities within a comparable organisation. They should excel in forging successful partnerships with a wide range of internal and external bodies and possess the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams in line with Stockport Homes’ values and culture. Additionally, they should be an organisational expert with in-depth knowledge of housing legislation, case law, policy, and trends. The ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities to meet targets, deliver successful and diverse projects, and achieve outcomes is essential.
